Challenge

This home owner called us to his home to see if we could help reducing the amount of ice damming that was occurring on his home. This was happening because the heat that he paid for was heating up his roof deck and causing the snow to melt. Once the snow melts it hits the gutter line and refreezes making a ice dam over time.

Solution

To fix this issue we dense packed the roof. First we removed the sofit and took out the old fiberglass insulation. Then we start to dense pack every bay. Once we are done we put the sofit back up to make it look like we were never there!

Now that Dr Energy Saver by Eco Energy Solutions came and finished this treatment, this home owner will not have to worry about destructive ice dams ever again!
